West End Goes Ballroom Hever Castle

Five years into our fantastic relationship, we are still supporting the incredibly talented WestEnders as they take their mesmerising show around the UK. This time around we were in the idyllic setting of Hever Castle as part of the Hever Summer Festival. This show was a rare outing for the "West End Goes Ballroom" format, featuring two of the UK's top ballroom dancers performing the quick step, waltz, tango and more as our six favourite West End performers wowed the picnicking crowd with a superb selection of "songs from the musicals".

My personal highlight of this show is the Hushabye Mountain / One Hand One Heart medley but once again it was the inevitable Les Miserables selection ending with the spine-tingling One Day More which brought the audience to its feet, demanding more, and eager to boogie to the Mama Mia encore.
